ItaliaStephanie Italia Ricci, born October 29 of 1986, is an American-Canadian actress. Her roles include April Carver's part in the ABC Family television show Chasing Life (2014)-2015, and Emily Rhodes, White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor on Designated Survivor (2016) to 2019. Ricci first began acting in American productions in 2009 , with small roles in How I Met Your Mother and House. During that same year, she had a recurring role in the Comedy Central series Secret Girlfriend as Sasha. In 2010, she was a co-star in the Cartoon Network live-action series Unnatural History as Maggie Winnock. She also appeared in a Clean & Clear ad. In 2011, she was featured in the short film Valediction. Ricci played a small role in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's first film as a director Don Jon in 2013.
