
Anthony David Gonzalez was conceived in Torrance on February 27th the year 1976. Gonzalez was born in southern California. He was a student at Huntington Beach High School and was a top basketball and football player. Gonzalez was a star in both games during his time at the University of California. He played with the football team in the 1996 Aloha Bowl. Here, Gonzalez broke the school's bowl record with nine receptions. After a few months, Gonzalez led the basketball team to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA basketball tournament. After graduating from high school He was a participant in the 1997 NFL Draft. The Kansas City Chiefs chose Gonzalez as their 13th overall selection. Gonzalez was with the Chiefs between 1997 and 2008. He was then transferred to the Atlanta Falcons. After his second year in the NFL the team never managed to catch more than 59 passes in a season.
