Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for her many different kinds of roles across film TV, theatre, and film. Her achievements include the Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award as well as many other awards. Anne Celeste Heche, born May 25, 1969 at New York City, died on August 11, 2022 in the city of Los Angeles, was an American actress. Her first role was as twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap drama Another World from 1987-1991. She won a Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. The latter part of the 1990s saw her become famous for her performances in crime dramas Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart is an American actor from the United States. Her birth name is Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is well-known as the character Lieutenant Sheba in the period 1978-1979 of the television show Battlestar Galactica. She is a daughter of the actress June Lockhart. Her grandfather was an actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart began her acting career very early. For T is for Tumbleweed, Lockhart's first film role came aged four. The film was nominated for an Academy Award in this short film. Her mother invited her to a film studio, where she was taught about how the film industry worked. Lockhart also appeared in a few seasons of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first film. The Sixth Sense starred her as Joan Crawford's Joan Crawford daughter at age 18. Joan Crawford's last role as an actor. Rumor has it that Anne was not interested in playing Laurie Strode, the character in John Carpenter's horror film Halloween. The part was cast with Jaime Lee Curtis. John. Carpenter says that he wanted her for the role but that she turned the offer down. Anne can't recall John Carpenter having contacted her nor offering the role. There is a chance that one of her agents turned it down on her behalf, without notifying her. Glen Larson chose her initially and then sent her a draft written script. The role she would take was on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. The character was not strong enough to convince her to take on the role. Glen was able to write a stronger part with Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend's script after having read the first 25 pages. The show ran for one season. The actress co-starred on Joyride along with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
