Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a pro. The InvictaFC11 fight was her very first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for an TKO victory in the 2nd round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. After a short break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by majority decision.
